Disconnection Penalties
Disconnection Penalties have been added for Online Battle (except for Custom Matches).
Penalty Conditions
The player’s “Trust Level” will decrease whenever they disconnect from an Online Battle (except in Custom Matches).
Players who keep disconnecting repeatedly will start receiving penalties once the color of their “Trust Level Icon” changes to Orange.
*The Trust Level will decrease whenever the players disconnect from a battle, even if the disconnection was unintentional
*The Trust Level can be recovered by completing more Online Battles normally.
Penalty Descriptions
The penalties will consist of a limited time Matching Restriction for the Online Battles (except Custom Matches) and a reduction of Battle Points (BP).
These penalties will become increasingly severe as players keep disconnecting and their Trust Level decreases.
Please refer to the following chart for more details.
If you keep getting disconnected unintentionally while playing, please check the status of your internet connection.
The Trust Level of all the players will be reset during the implementation of the Disconnection Penalties.
Please follow the basic rules and manners while playing, so that everyone can have a pleasant and fun experience with the Online Battles.
Bug Fixes Related to the Battles
- Fixed a bug that caused puppet characters to use ninja tools unintentionally during specific inputs. This applies to the following characters:
- Kankuro
- Kankuro (BORUTO)
- Kankuro (Part 1)
- Sasori
- Chiyo
- Hagoromo Otsutsuki:
- Fixed a bug preventing the activation of Ninjutsu 1 ”Divine Thunder” from disappearing when it was canceled out.
- Choji Akimichi (BORUTO)
- Fixed a bug that gave too much defensive priority while Awakened.
*The defensive priority determines the level of damage received by the character when attacked.
Battle Balance Adjustments
Overall Battle Adjustments
- Shuriken:
- Removed the possibility of performing follow-up attacks on downed opponents.
- However, only a few characters will still be able to perform follow-up attacks on downed opponents.
- Ninja Tools: Kunai Rain:
- Removed the possibility of performing follow-up attacks on downed opponents.
- Ninja Tools: Burst Kunai
- Removed the possibility of performing follow-up attacks on downed opponents.
Individual Character Adjustments
The following adjustments have been made based on the overall balance:
- Naruto Uzumaki (Sage of the Six Paths Mode):
- Ninjutsu 1 ”Tailed Beast Bomb Rasen Shuriken”: Made the recovery speed slower when using it as a support.
- Ninjutsu 2 ”Sage Art: Super Tailed Beast Shuriken”: Made the recovery speed slower when using it as a support, and increased the opening created after the attack.
- Naruto Uzumaki (Kurama Link Mode):
- Increased the defense.
- Ninjutsu 2 ”Tailed Beast Bomb”: Reduced the amount of Chakra needed to use it, made the recovery speed slower when using it as a support, and increased its damage.
- Also, changed it to send the opponent flying away instead of rolling after being hit, and adjusted to make it possible to cancel the latter part of this move using a Dash.
- This makes it possible to perform follow-up attacks after successfully landing this Ninjutsu.
- Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode):
- Made the throwing speed faster.
- Made the recovery speed of the Chakra Charge faster.
- Kakashi Hatake (Double Sharingan):
- Ninjutsu 2 ”Kamui”: Made the recovery speed slower when using it as a support.
- Might Guy (Great Ninja War):
- Reduced the defense.
- Ninjutsu 1 ”Dynamic Entry”: Reduced the advancing distance and increased the opening created when the attack misses its target.

- Reduced the damage of throws and changed the effect after successfully landing this attack on the opponent to bounce. This makes it easier to perform follow-up attacks after successfully landing a hit.

- The First Hokage: Hashirama Senju (Reanimation):

- Ninjutsu 1 ”Living Wall Fist: Style One”: Increased the damage.
- Increased the damage of aerial combos.
- Increased the damage of ground-level combos and increased the duration of the stunning effect on enemies after successfully landing a hit.

- Ninjutsu 1 ”Fire Style: Dragon Flame Loud Singing Jutsu”: Made the recovery speed faster when using it as a support.
- Ninjutsu 2 ”Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation”: Made the recovery speed faster when using it as a support.
- Madara Uchiha (Reanimation):
- Ninjutsu 1 ”Susano’o: Slash in Two”: Made the recovery speed faster when using it as a support and increased the inflicted damage.
- Ninjutsu 2 ”Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation”: Reduced the amount of Chakra needed to activate it and made the recovery speed faster when using it as a support.

- Ninjutsu 1 ” Cherry Blossom Dance”: Made it possible to perform Ninjutsu Blocks, changed the final effect after successfully landing the attack to bounce and made it possible to cancel the latter part of this move using a Dash.
- Increased the duration of the stunning effect on the opponent after successfully landing ground-level combos.
- Shino Aburame (Part 1):
- Decreased the defense.
- Ninjutsu 1 “Gyral Lump Insect”: Decreased the damage.
- Ninjutsu 2 ” Ground Scamper Insects”: Decreased the damage, increased the Chakra Damage and made the recovery speed slower when using it as a support.
- Gaara (Part 1):
- Decreased the damage of ground-level combos.
- Decreased the damage of aerial combos.
- Temari (Part 1):
- Ninjutsu 1 ” Gust Dance”: Reduced the amount of Chakra needed to activate it and made it possible to rebound if hit during the later stage of this move.
- Ninjutsu 2 ” Rumbling Fan Wind Wall”: Reduced the amount of Chakra needed to activate it.
- Zabuza Momochi:
- Ninjutsu 1 ”Land Breaker”: Increased the damage.
- Ninjutsu 2 “Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu”: Increased the damage and reduced the opening created after the attack.
- Haku:
- Made the ground-level combos faster and increased the duration of the stunning effect after successfully landing the attacks.
- Sarada Uchiha:
- Ninjutsu 1 ” Blade Trap”: Increase the amount of Chakra needed to activate it and made the recovery time slower when using it as a support.
- Hinata Uzumaki (BORUTO):
- Ninjutsu 2 ”8 Trigrams Air Palm”: Made the recovery speed slower when using it as a support.
